John Cardwell reports that he fished 5 Bar Gate at Rossall over high water, his chosen bait was frozen black worm and he had dozens of whiting and small codling, then just after high tide he caught a cracking 4lb codling. John Peat fished the same venue had whiting after whiting, in total John ended up with 25 whiting all caught on worm. Ilaria Armeni fished Rossall Point and landed plenty of small species such as whiting and codling to around 2lb.
Gavin Crossley fished of his kayak on Wednesday and had some cracking codling around the 5lb mark.
Springfield Angling Club member Neil Tuck had a couple of decent codling on Tuesday night on fresh black worm.
