Lancashire Sea Fishing Re-Starts

by David Proudfoot

Bispham Angling weekly Lancashire reports are finally back post lockdown and should be published every week again.

Shore fishing has been patchy in day light hours but plenty of fish after dark. Ragworm and black lugworm seem to be the most productive baits at the moment catching plaice, dogfish, rays, smoothhound pups and whiting.

The boat fishing has picked up massively with the summer species just starting to arrive, even a few mackerel about! Mainly dogfish, whiting, bull huss and smoothhound pups.
